This Festive Season find us at Fruitmarket Gallery in the heart of Edinburgh, for a Winter Makers Market.
A two day event showcasing the best of independent art, craft and design from across Scotland and beyond. We’ll be joined by over 30 makers sharing thoughtful craft and design-led goods. this is the go to for your festive gift idea’s.
Visit us The endless love creative festive market is back at The Warehouse of Fruitmarket, a ground floor thoughtfully restored event space, that some may remember as being a place for raves and DJ sets many moons ago, now host to talks, book fairs and contemporary exhibitions. We’re honoured that this has become an annual event for us, which has led it to become a firm fave of the Fruitmarket calendar and our only two day event. This is our more intimate location featuring 34 tables, and up to 40 artist and makers in a day. A boutique selection and a highly curated experience to enjoy browsing tables, sharing thoughts with makers and finding unique design, an atmospheric and community led event, a moment to slow when the city is all a bustle.
We feel the best way to experience the market is to come early, make the most of fruit markets free exhibition, grab a coffee and have a good old think about the craftsmanship on show, you will find botanicals, hand thrown ceramics, original prints, and cosy colourful knitwear, artisanal jewellery and playful illustration through to gorgeous printed goods and stationary, a whole host of crafts will be on display.

Explore Fruitmarket free entry exhibition spaces, indie bookshop and feast on the kitchens seasonal menu, we’re right outside Waverley Station a 10 minute walk from the Castle and the National Scottish Gallery and our favourite coffee shop The Milk Man

Learn a new skill and meet new people at our indie artist led workshops, from book binding to botanical perfume making, check out the selection of experiences we will feature at the Market.

Restaurant-quality food from sustainable suppliers, at an affordable price in a welcoming and relaxed environment. From breakfast at 9am to the specials served throughout the afternoon and even the cocktails at 4pm, everything is made fresh and on site. Book here
