Keeping you in the loop
From check in emails to an instagram group chat, we’re great at communication. There’s always time for your questions and a space to feel connected during the four week run up to market day. You’ll also be provided with a indepth what to expect from market day document, that covers access to how to get the most from the market.
ELC Marketing
IRL to social platforms we’re known for our considered approach, that bring in beautiful visitors that are curious about craft and love discovering considered design. Flyers and posters designed by indie graphic designer Han Valentine will feature around the market cities. We’ll start talking all about the markets at the end of 2025 over on instagram, substack and tiktok, and directing visitors through to the maker web directory where you’ll feature with a link to your webshop and insta, creating a go to space to showcase your work.

Refund Policy updated June 2025
please read.
Once a table fee has been received and your receipt has been sent, this is your place at the market confirmed, on payment £25 of this stall fee becomes non refundable immediately, to cover admin and initial event costs.
If you would like to cancel your stall, please get in touch via email to Char endlesslovecreative@yahoo.com, with the preferred bank details to send your refund to.
Important Dates and refund policy
30 Days or more before the market date a refund of your stall fee minus £25 admin fee will be refunded.
15 days - 29 days before the market date your refund will be your table fee minus £25 admin fee and minus 30% of the initial fee. For example to join the Sheffield market with a full table is £100 (minus £25 + minus £30) You will be refunded £45
14 days or less, your stall is no longer refundable regardless of circumstance. This is due to the upfront costs of the market and the unlikely hood of finding someone to replace the table in the remaining time .

Like owning an independent shop, with a dedicated loyal customer base our markets are built on consistently curating markets that align with the style and values of ELC and our visitors. To get a sense of the feel of our events look at previous line ups on our maker directories and our instagram.
Not everyone will be the right fit for ELC events, and often I receive more applications than spaces available.
Though I don’t offer personal feedback, you will receive an email to let you know whether you have secured a table or not.

Answers to our most common questions
Can I apply to the market if i’m not local to the city you’re hosting in?
Yes, all applications from across the UK and Ireland welcome.
I haven’t got a website, can I apply?
You must have a shop or website that clearly shows your work and price points. If you only sell on instagram we unfortunately can’t accept your application.
Can I share a table with a friend?
The markets are curated, including the floor layout. You are welcome to apply together as a collective for a full table, though do suggest applying for half tables and being open to the possibility of sharing with someone you don’t know, this will increase your chances of featuring.
Are the events dog friendly?
The only event we host that is dog friendly is in Sheffield at Showroom Workstation where both makers and visitors are able to bring there dog pals, unfortunately due to the insurance in arts venues we are unable to accept dogs unless assist dogs in Newcastle and Edinburgh.
What is your accessibility like?
All three venues are wheelchair accesible. On the applications form there will be a space to write about any assistance you may need for the day.
Can I apply to be part of more than one market?
Yes we welcome multiple applications, sometimes if your work is suited to the curation you may be considered for all markets you have applied to, it completely depends on who’s applied and how you all work together as a collective.
Can I bring someone to help me?
Yes. If you have booked a half table this can sometimes become a bit cramped, but we’re aware that having that go to support on the day is invaluable, for coffee runs and long days.
Will I hear back?
On application a thank you note will pop up on the screen. Once the curation is complete I will reach out to everyone whether your have secured a table or not.

Edinburgh
Our Edinburgh Makers Markets are hosted in the Heart of the city at Fruitmarket Gallery. A two minute walk from Waverley Station. A gallery with an extraordinary roster of contemporary exhibits, guest speakers, workshops and events. Our market will take place on the ground floor in The Warehouse, next door to the cafe. Fruitmarket attracts both the galleries community as well as tourists visiting the city in search of artisan pieces to remind them of their time in Edinburgh. This space is quite different from our others, with space for 30 tables, it is our most intimate event.
